Pacific Airshow 2026: Huntington Beach’s 10th Anniversary Spectacle

The Pacific Airshow returned to Huntington Beach this October 2-4 for its 10th anniversary, bringing three days of military demonstrations and precision flying to the Orange County coast.

A Milestone Year

Last year’s government shutdown grounded military aircraft. This year, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are back to headline, and they’re thrilled about the beach venue.

“The air quality is just like butter,” said commander Alexander Prevendar. “It gives us the ability to fly even tighter.”

The Heavy Hitters

Five of the biggest machines in the sky took over Surf City:

  • USAF C-17 Globemaster III — 585,000 pounds floating along the shoreline
  • RAF C-17 Globemaster III — the Royal Air Force joined in
  • USAF KC-135 Stratotanker — the flying gas station, low and slow
  • USMC V-22 Osprey Demo — took off like a helicopter, left like an airplane
  • B-25 Mitchell — twin radial engines you could feel in your chest

Returning Favorites

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds returned after “owning the event last year.” Also back: the Red Bull helicopter performing backflips, the Red Bull Skydive Team, and Dawn Patrol Airshows.

Premium Hospitality

For those who prefer their airshow elevated, VIP offerings included on-the-sand suites and front-row views. Beach Club (from $495) delivered buffet lunch, a four-hour beverage package, private restrooms, and exclusive performer access. New for 2026, Beach Club Ballads featured live piano daily at 3:30pm, and Friday/Saturday guests could roll into Sunset Sessions in the Garden Bar with DJ Nicka35.
